Pretty in Pig Tails

Bella has so much hair that its sometimes hard to handle. John and I both decided that we wanted to grow her hair out so cutting it isnt an option. So we have had to come up with new ways to keep the hair out of her eyes. well pig tails were the only thing that worked. having a bow in her hair is nice but she loves to pull them out and eat them so we came with a compromise and do two little bows with pig tails what do you think???

Bella is Crawling!!

I can't believe that my baby girls is into EVERYTHING!!!!! she started crawling out of no where! guess this Christmas we are going to have to keep everything off the floor. She has actually gained lots of speed as well. but the hardest part is knowing shes growing so fast :( . Sometimes I wish they could stay a baby just a little bit longer

Jake goes to preschool

We are so excited to say that Jake loves preschool. At first it was a big adjustment since he had only been to grandmas, but now he loves to learn anything and everything. Jake got excellent in all areas at his conference and they say even though his birthday is late he should be good to go for kindergarten ya!!! Heres some pictures of Jakes first day of school!

We had such a great time this year taking the kids trick or treating jake went as a fireman and bella went as a lady bug. I think they both got way to much candy so jake agreed that if we got rid of some of it he would get a nice toy instead.well heres some pictures enjoy!

ISABELLA ROSE IS HERE!

Becoming a mom of two is tiring! from running one toddler to the bathroom and a newborn crying for a bottle it seems like the day is never going to end! but i wouldnt change it for the world!
Isabella rose haldeman was born on january 26th at 2:13 pm she is 6lbs 14 ounces and 19 inches long and the sweetest little thing! she loves when you kiss her cheek she gets the biggest smile. life has changed so much from buying mini footballs and thomas the train toys to bows. ruffle socks and pink, lots of pink! baby and mom are both doing well. I did have post partum hemorrage but they got it under control after about an hour so now were both home and recovering nicely!

So i have finally gotten my camera to upload all of the new pics of our new home! we love it here, we have so much space and feel so much more independent. the only down side of living in this fabulous new place is our neighbor is always out of town but has a dog that barks 24/7 , but we have really gotten used to it! i just hope that the dog doesnt wake Isabella when she gets here! well im sure that everyone just wants to see some pics so here they are!

New news!

Life has been going well, a little crazy now that we are trying to move in 2 weeks later then we had planned, but its going good! I had my dr.'s appointment on thursday that went really well. i got my flu shots, yes they hurt, and no i didnt belt out in pain like i wanted too! but everything went well with that! I did find out that Isabella may be coming earlier then expected my dr. said that she is already starting to sit low and i get atleast 2 hard contractions a day! what does that mean? well if she is in the same position that she is now it means that i will most likely get a c section around 37 weeks because when they are sitting butt down legs up they say its almost impossible for the dr. to try to move them and if you go into labor it just stresses the baby, so i have an ultra sound again in 3 weeks after that appointment i have to start going every other thursday till mid dec. then once a week, im telling you everyone in that office knows me i dont even have to say my name to check in any more. being almost 28 weeks pregnant is kind of scary i might be bringing home a little one in 9 weeks isnt that crazy! ahh this has gone so fast! john and i still cant believe that were having a new baby! jake is more then thrilled, when he goes to the dr. with me he will ask is baby sister fine? hes so loving. well thats all for now hopefully this baby stays in here for me :)

Happy Halloween

Jake decided he wanted to go with the animal route this year for halloween and wanted to be a lion like simba in the lion king hes too cute! trick or treat for us this year is on a saturday which is a good thing for once. its normally on a thursday of weds night when everyone is at work, so this year we all get to go and watch jake have fun! hes a pro this year let me tell you he practices what hes going to say when he goes up to the doors lol!

We've moved!

Although it hasent been the best experience in the world for us we are glad that it is over with. when we moved in nothing was ready for us. the carpet looked like someone was stabbed 100 times in jakes room which completely freaked me out, if you all know me i hate anything that has to do with scary movies, any who they never painted the walls or fixed the cellant in the kitchen so all of that had to be done. i had a dr. appointment the day before all of the redoing was supposed to take place and was told since i am considered high risk i was not to be around any of the paint of the glue for a week and opening the windows wasent allowed due to it only being 40 degrees and all the flus that are going around she said it would be better to stay somewhere else then clean when they were done. so that was a damper in the plans anyway, they still havent replaced the carpet we cant move anything else in until they do so, great isnt it? so we are in talks or getting our rent lowered due to them not doing there job and paying rent for a place that we cant even use yet. so hopefully that will all be delt with by saturday!!!!

Baby news!

Isabella (bella for short) is doing great she is growing like crazy and i swear taking kick boxing classes inside. although she is still breach we are hoping that she will turn before my 32 weeks apointment otherwise they are going to plan on a c section ugh!!! my family doesnt do so well with an surgical procegure so my dr. said that she would use this as a last option. even the talk of a c section has john freaking out and i dont blame him, 1 he HATES hospitals, 2 he cant stand to see me in pain, when they thought i was going into labor not to long ago he was about to go nuts with them not giving me anything for pain!. 3 he hates the idea of having me get a c section he wont tell me why but all he says is that he doesnt like it. we took a tour of our hospital and i have been pre registered woohoo thats one last thing thats off my check list lol! but we did find out due to how much infection is going on only john and one other person can be in the roomw while i am in labor and jake cant be there until after the baby is born due to all the swine flu and regular flu thats going around. that was kind of upsetting to hear but i would rather be safe then sorry!

22 weeks!

Wow its so hard to believe that i am already 22 weeks pregnant. so many things have changed with the haldemans! Jake has grown up so much he is sooo excited to meet his baby sister, he thinks we can just go to the store and pick her up. we watched dumbo the other day and Jake asked if baby sister would come in a blanket? ha john reassured him that its kinda like that lol. Jake has been talking like crazy he no longer points its full sentences. he had a Dr. appointment just for a check up and the Dr. gave us the go ahead to get him back on potty training and he is doing fabulous!!! he has only had 2 accidents in 3 days! for some reason everything just clicked this time. he loves to walk around in his underwear and show everyone his big boy pants. John loves the fact that we don't buy diapers anymore but also the dirty diapers are no more....... well for now that is. I'm just so proud!

Being 22 weeks pregnant already has me freaking out! i feel like just yesterday was when i found out i was having a baby and now she has a name! here is the official name ISABELLA ROSE HALDEMAN. I hate when people tell me that they don't like it but whats important is that john and i do and where the ones that are going to be caring for her! Yes I understand that the name is popular but oh well i have loved that name since i was a little girl! any who I find that i am getting more tired each and everyday, but i haven't been so sick since they gave me the zofran which is like a life savor! Last week i went into labor and delivery with sever cramping. it was to the point were i couldn't breath. They got me in right away and ran some tests having 3 dr's look at for 2 hours was horrifying. i felt like i was a Guinea pig in some experiment. well after my results came back they all came back in saying that my uterus was charlie horsing and there was nothing that they could do to stop it. so they gave me some ambien and sent me on my way. I was extremely grateful and upset at the same time. for a second there we thought that i was in labor they couldn't relay the news that i wasn't a little sooner? but other then that scare at 2 am everything else has been fine!

OCTOBER!!! is our big month! were moving out into our own place. were so excited and we cant wait to finally feel independent and be able to enjoy our own place. we have been looking around at different decor and are having so much fun with it. from lamps to end tables it seems like no matter how much stuff we have it never seems like we have enough or that were always missing something! we ordered a new bed its a queen we cant wait its a seely pillow top! and with my prego aches its going to feel amazing! we still have lots to get and so little time :)

4th of JULY

This year for the 4th of july we went to a parade, cooked out with some family and went to the fireworks which i think was jakes favorite part! we hope that everyone had a fun 4th!!!

Jake had so much fun on his birthday! john and i decided that we would do something small with just immediate family on a weekend, but Jake was going to get a big surprise :) after he blew out all of his candles he got to the monster jeep that john and I have been saving for forever! then that night we took him to chuck e cheese where he got to play games and enjoy a perfect day. i still cant believe that my little man is 3 years old it only seems like yesterday that we brought him home from the hospital.

Easter Sunday

I know this should of been posted a while ago, but ive been really really busy believe it or not!

This easter john and i decided we kind of wanted to take it easy, so we read eachother our favorite bible verses and had some lunch jake of course didnt get up until the late afternoon and by that time he was ready to dig into this easter basket. we decided that an egg hunt was the best way to go and jake really got into this year and of course he was shaking all of the eggs asking if there was money or candy in them. so here are some of our family easter pics!

Baby landrys quilt!

So as most of you know my sister in law Amy is having another baby girl landry. well if you know anything about me im like an old lady and love to be crafty. This time i decided that i wanted to make her a baby quilt my aunt made me one when i was little and i still have it. I knew that Amy was going with the colors red and yellow, I cant show the finished product until Amy+Landry see it but i do have a sneak peak. also this was all done by hand, i hate sewing machines, i could never work one if i tried and trust me i try all of the time hopefully they like it :)
