Jake is a huge fan of my homemade waffles! its a recipie that my mom gave to me from my grandma and I love them and so does jake. here's some pictures of jake enjoying a family treat!

Disney On Ice!

John and I finaly decided that jake was old enough to go see one of those disney shows on ice. at first we thought that he was still going to be a little to young for it oh but we were so wrong, he had so much fun his new favorite actions heros are the INCREDIBLES, yes its the latest obsession. jake loved that they were part of the show along with baloo the bear and the monkeys, jake sang and danced and even wore a syndrom hat (Hes the bad guy). all in all jake had a blast and completely crashed on the way home which left us with a quiet evening!

Valentines day

For the first time since John and I have had jake, we got to go out on valentines day. We decided to do a double date with my brother George and his girlfriend Julie. we went to a nice Japanease stake house and it was AMAZING! We all decided to go see a movie after, I think it was Taken, well I thought it was a horrible movie but thats just me. Any whoo it was just nice to be able to go out and have a good time with the hubby. Here's a couple of pictures below of our evening! enjoy.

Its been a while

Well so much has happend in these past two months and i've had almost no extra time to download pictures and blog so heres a long one for ya!

We did leave for texas on christmas and had a wonderful time. all though on the way there we did get pulled over by an officer who ended up being wrong about our speed but oh well it happens right? We ended up getting there around 5 in the morning maybe 6 but we were excited to see everyone jake was ready to play with Rylee!!!!! we had a lot of fun hanging out with amy and kc. we had fun going out for mexican and eating whataburger at 1 in the morning. and just talking. with me being at home i dont get alot of girl talk so it was really nice.

We had so much fun at the family christmas party drawling gifts but this year there wasnt much of a fight over gifts like we did with all the guys wanting crown last year lol but that was really funny.

Christmas was so much fun! jake loved being able to hang out with rylee, he always points to her picture asking about her its so cute! heres some cute pictures of them playing while they were in houston!

another fun thing about texas was spending a girls day with yo! we went and had mani's and pedi's and it was so relaxing. and it was nice to just have a girls day and enjoy it. that same day we went back to the house and had a nice quiet dinner and got to just talk and have fun and thats what we love about texas just being with family. john had a guys day with jeff and toby and i know how much he loved it.

Yeah for new years! new years was sooo much fun Sarah and Micheal my brother and sister in law came to johns dads house the night before new years for a visit! we all thought it would be fun to play some kind of game on new years so we headed to target (my favorite place) to get a game. CATCH PHRASE!!!! let me tell you it was so much fun all of us had such a good time. if you have never played then you really should! it was lots of fun being able to see sarah and micheal. and i know jake loved hanging out with them. check out some of the pics below of new years!!Big Jeff
